A Thanksgiving Blessing

I think we’re going to make this old cart new again!

Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating today and a special day to all! Today was a great day. Got out and worked in the shop to a nice warm fire all day. Tons of progress on some projects, and I really struggle with what could make the day better. Now obviously, there’s tons of things that could go above and beyond, but when you think of a great day, today was certainly it.

That is what I have to be thankful for this year, and I can’t think of a better blessing to be grateful for. We all have the bad parts of the day, some have different trials than others, and some worse than others, but there is always a constant flow of bad stuff going on. What made today good though, was how I used it. That kind of wisdom and putting it to practice is priceless. I spent the day on my terms and I created a better workshop space, I got a cart ready, and I got some work done on a chair I am restoring. Take all that and throw in some relaxing next to a fire in the shop, and well all the bad stuff going on in the world and my life, was gone. Well, not gone in the sense of existence, but certainly out of sight and mind.

That’s some powerful use of perspective, and I am glad that I can walk that path and learn to master it someday! That is also why we will always believe that when we make our day, the day can’t ever make us Have a blessed day and weekend ahead and until the next adventure, be inspired, be inspiring, and #GrowlLouder!
