Those Moments That Define Your Path

We’re a bit overdue for a journal entry, but before we get to that; I hope you all are well and doing your best out there. It always matters even when you think it doesn’t! Today as I’m getting ready for my Thursday evening Scriptures out in the workshop, I keep thinking about where I was and where I’ve grown into as a person in the past few years. That’s why this amazing silver dime is the picture for today!

I recently rewatched the moment I got my first silver out metal detecting, and it was a moment that almost caught me in shock. I remember that moment as if it were happening right now and I know how excited I was on the inside, but watching myself I felt like it was such a mumbled level of excitement that is was almost not even there. It was certainly not the wild screaming and accidental cussing of myself today!

Now the reason this matters, is that I had no idea how impactful working on myself physically, spiritually, and mentally actually has been. The level of joy I feel and how I express it now is night and day different from the person that was in that video. That’s simply why it matters even when you think it doesn’t.
